The NFT market is brimming with odds and ends commanding absurd sale prices. So far in 2021, a series of digital drawings of cartoon apes sold for $24.4 million, and an assortment of drawings from digital artist Beeple sold for $69 million. Add in meme stocks like GameStop and AMC and the rapidly-expanding cryptocurrency sphere, and it all equals a very surreal year for capital markets.
