Retail investor enthusiasm about cryptocurrency may be at an all-time high, but investing icon Warren Buffett refuses to be swept up in the hype. In 2014, Buffett told CNBC "I wouldn't be surprised if it's not around in 10 or 20 years"; since then, he's also dubbed Bitcoin "rat poison squared" and called it "a delusion." And despite recent events, Buffett hasn't changed his position: last year, he blasted Bitcoin as a vehicle for illegally moving money (and little else).
