In essence, this technology allows for digital assets (like art, Tweets, or video clips) to be sold, and the owner readily identified using blockchain technology. And this isn't just something happening in Silicon Valley or other tech-centric parts of the country: The New York Times recently sold the rights to one of their articles using an NFT at a price tag of $560,000.
