Whitney’s Favorite Road Trip Tool

This month’s favorite comes from Whitney Holland, who will be taking an 18-hour road trip to visit her family in Wisconsin. She shares an “old school” road trip tool that can make the drive just a little bit easier.

“I really like the TripTik that you get from AAA when doing a road trip. It’s always nice to have a hard copy guide to follow and each page has the number of miles and expected time between each stop. It also includes areas that could have delays due to construction or commuter traffic. On top of all this, you get a guide book for each state that you will drive through as well as a map of your drive, which can be especially fun for your kids to read — especially if they’ve never used a hardcopy roadmap before!”
