The “Buffett Indicator” uses the Wilshire 5000 stock index to gauge the market value of the entire U.S. Stock Market. This value is then compared to U.S. Gross Domestic Product, or GDP.
Historically, a market value that is 120% of GDP is considered fairly valued. Today, we see the market at 228% of GDP, or 88% higher than the long-term trend line.
For us, this is just another signal that we are in the midst of a very frothy (and expensive) market, and caution is warranted.

They are a great resource for kids who often lose their glasses or for anyone who wants to have multiple styles on hand.
