This summer was the "Summer of 75" ... or 0.75% rate increases from the Federal Reserve. This charts compares recent rate hikes to history, showing how this cycle is much more rapid than any in recent memory. We'll be monitoring the pace and magnitude of rate hikes in the coming months.

Katherine and her husband, Jeff, were finally able to take their honeymoon, which was postponed by two years due to Covid. They spent five days in The Cotswolds and five days in London and were actually touring Buckingham Palace on the morning that the Queen passed away. After the tour, Katherine was able to get a picture (see above) of the rainbow that appeared over the palace that day.
Barry Investment Advisors was a sponsor at the 18th Annual Summer's Last Blast , hosted by the SouthCoast Community Foundation. Joe and Dan attended the event and enjoyed fantastic food, wine and company.
Whitney and her sister participated in their 15th National Multiple Sclerosis Challenge Walk. They raised nearly $5,000 to be used towards MS research and walked 50 miles in three days through Cape Cod in support of those living with this disease.
Dan Pinheiro recently completed the requirements for the Yale School of Management's Wealth Theory & Practice Certificate. The program focuses on intermediate to advanced financial planning strategies that help clients build, protect and distribute their wealth. Completion of the program allows candidates to sit for the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA) certification.
