In January of this year, GMO Chief Investment Strategist Jeremy Grantham published an investor letter warning of an inflating bubble that “could well be the most important event of your investing lives,” one that encompasses almost everything: cryptocurrency, equity valuations, interest rates, housing, and even non-energy commodities. According to Grantham, it’s only a matter of time until the bubble bursts — and when it does, he predicts a “negative wealth effect” the scale of which we’ve never seen before. In this interview with Reuters, Grantham explains what he thinks is next for the markets.
