Joseph Barry’s roots go back to Providence, Rhode Island, where he was appointed Account Executive at Merrill Lynch in 1974. In 1982, Joe moved the office to New Bedford, Massachusetts, bringing a major Wall Street firm to serve affluent families residing in the coastal communities to the east and west of the city. In November 2007, Patrick Barry teamed up with Joe and founded the independent firm now known as Barry Investment Advisors, LLC.
Barry Investment Advisors focuses on providing quality investment advice as well as comprehensive and personalized financial planning to over 400 families, many of whom are the children or grandchildren of clients that date back to those early years.
