If you are already enrolled in Medicare, now is the time to give your coverage a checkup. From October 15th through December 7th, you have the ability to make changes to your coverage. The changes you can make are switching to an Advantage Plan from original Medicare (Part A + Part B); switch to original Medicare from an Advantage Plan; or switch from one prescription plan (Part D) to another. There are various resources listed in the below article that you can use to determine which coverage suits you best. In addition, we plan on releasing a podcast in a few weeks where we have a Q&A discussion with a Medicare consultant that could be very helpful to you. It’s important to shop around and compare, but if you are happy with your current coverage, you don’t need to do anything further.
